This is an introduction to the Orchard Steward workshop series.
This is an introduction to the Orchard Steward workshop series to learn the basics. Enjoy a relaxing / enjoyable activity, refreshments, and a brief exploration of what it looks like to be an orchard steward. We will clarify what it means to be a steward, what the responsibilities are, what a yearly rhythm looks like in the orchard, and how we will guide you in the process.
Please Note: This is a highly recommended workshop for all new 2024 or 2025 orchard sites. Each steward should attend prior to their intended planting date.
